As a multiple winner of the major honor roll and being ranked as one of the top hospitals, this facility has earned itself a life-long reputation, all because of its mission and vision statements. A corporate vision statement simply identifies the future goals of a company, while a corporate mission statement determines the ways of making the vision come true.

In this case analysis of Cleveland Clinic, the institution strives to create the best hospital environment and practices for everyone. On the other hand, its mission statement is all about caring and empowering healthcare experts. At the core of what Cleveland Clinic has achieved is its core values that second the mission and vision statements. They make it easy for the establishment to remain focused on what it is set to achieve.

Mission Statement

Cleveland Clinic’s mission statement is “to provide better care of the sick, investigation in their problems and further education of those who serve.” The statement highlights the three key objectives that will keep Cleveland Clinic on the right track when it comes to the achievement of its vision. It particularly prioritizes maximum care for all of its patients. The mission statement can be explained as follows:

There are various ways that Cleveland Clinic proves that it satisfies this call to improve health and healthcare delivery in all its facilities. Through all these services, this facility boosts the overall health of the people, together with applying preventative approaches to promote a productive society.

Vision Statement

Cleveland Clinic’s vision statement is “to be the best place for care anywhere and the best place to work in healthcare.” With this statement, it becomes clear that Cleveland recognizes the importance of patients feeling welcomed and cared for when they seek care. It also shows the need to keep all care providers motivated to deliver. The statement has the following components:

  2. Distinguished working conditions

In the first component, Cleveland Clinic has created a system that embraces diversity and the spirit to serve. It shows that although patients are prioritized, all the other workers and care providers are equally appreciated to ensure they deliver the best care.

Cleveland Clinic’s core values comprise “quality & safety, empathy, inclusion, integrity, teamwork, innovation.” As a health care institution, doing the right things that not only promote the wellness of the patient but also those of the employees, comes first. These values have enabled Cleveland Clinic to create a practice that ensures all these conditions are complied with.
