Young Life is a religious organization whose mission and vision statements are focused on nurturing the young minds of its followers in the Christian way. The organization has earned itself a reputation through its unwavering dedication to its course not only in Colorado but also across the globe through its other subsidiaries. Although each of its affiliated bodies may have varying objectives, they all subscribe to the original focus established by the mission and vision statements of Young Life.
A mission statement simply identifies the processes which an organization uses to drive its growth, while a vision statement establishes the growth direction in any business. In the case of Young Life, the mission statement is all about fostering spiritual growth in adolescents while proving them with safe hubs to grow in. On the other hand, its vision is to create a legacy of a faith-based institution that positively impacts the lives of the young people. Young Life perseverance in its course is supported by the core values of this organization, and together with the vision and mission statement, they have given rise to a progressive entity today.
Young Life mission statement is “introducing adolescents to Jesus Christ and helping them grow in their faith.” Through this statement, Young Life makes its primary objective clear. The organization also emphasizes that it is not all about religion but the personal growth of individuals it comes in contact with. The mission statement by Young Life has the following points:

There is no doubt that Young Life is a religious organization that runs on Christian principles as shown in the first component in its mission statement. The institution, therefore, uses the Christian gospel as its guide in everything it does including educating and modeling the adolescents in its MCYM clubs and international schools. By doing so, Young Life instills rare and life-changing principles in the lives of its beneficiaries. They become responsible members of the societies where they live especially because, with the teaching that they get, they also become productive. This is evidence of how Young Life transforms and improves the lives of the adolescents nudging them in the right growth path as dependable individuals in their communities.
Young Life vision statement is “every adolescent will have the opportunity to meet Jesus Christ and follow Him.” The statement places the religiosity aspect of the organization at the center of everything it does. The statement has the following elements:

The first element of the vision statement by Young Life indicates the organization seeks to introduce everyone it interacts with to the teachings of Jesus Christ. It considers these as the building blocks to a fulfilling and satisfying life. In the process of teaching, Young Life looks to help individuals to accept and embrace its religious values as shown in the second element of its vision statement.
Young Life core values are “the gospel, scripture, all kids, ecumenical, diversity, health, stewardship, and the next kid. “ All these are religious principles adopted by Young Life to help it mold individuals that reflect the life of a Christian. Their presence has also been influential in the stability and progressive growth of the organization into a global body since 1941 when it first came into existence.
