We like shopping at METRO, it is very convenient. Quality of the meat department is very good. Staff is always friendly. Too bad that you are turning to electronics instead of using personnel, just for the profit line. Have you not made enough?! even through this time, PANDEMIC and all? Well I guess the bottom line is all you can see.

To whom it may concern!……I’ve been shopping for my groceries at our closest Metro store corner of Montreal Road and Ogilvie Road in Ottawa for many years now. I have a problem with the music which is forced upon us when shopping and also forced upon the employees of the store which have to accept the stores idea of soothing music which is a long long way from being soothing. I call it noise pollution because the music consists of modern songs which sound like a constant whining music which is deeply annoying for customers like me to have to put up with sounds that feel like someone screaming not singing. I must describe it as noise pollution and extremely annoying at best. Your employees tell me that they constantly have to tune it out completely during their shift. I feel that they should be relieved from this type of forcible sounds that many don’t dare complain about. Please do something for your customers also who have to put up with it to the point of wanting to never shop at your stores again. It drives me nuts every time I shop at your store. You could save money if you made this idea disappear and spend your saving for something more pleasurable for your customers and employees. If you don’t agree with me how about providing soft and smooth classical music that would sound like music instead of screaming and whining.
