TED Mission Statement

TED is a nonprofit organization that started in 1984. The idea of TED i.e. Technology, Entertainment, and Design was inspired by Richard Saul Wurman, and Harry Mark’s then reintroduced it. The idea finally started to get shape in the 1990s, when the TED conference became an annual event. Today, after almost three decades, the company covers almost every single market, starting from science to business and more. Its mission is to change the community through the exchange of revolutionary ideas and how people with different ethnicity and culture view the world. It holds events and conferences so that people can come out of their comfort zones and speak about everything they believe in.
