PETA Mission and Vision Statements Analysis

PETA mission statement is “establishing and protecting the rights of all animals. PETA operates under the simple principle that animals are not ours to eat, wear, experiment on, or use for entertainment.” This statement has the following components:

  1. Changing perspectives and practices
  2. Protecting all animals’ rights

The first component covers the primary duty of PETA – to usher in a new era where animals are respected and treated with dignity. The vision statement advances this course of protecting animals from all forms of violation by declaring and enforcing the need to ensure everyone complies with animal rights.
